Quite a number of people ranging from artists ,masters of ceremonies ,disc jokeys ,among others keep spending much and more money on paying graphic designers and other people to make flyers for them .Yet in actual sense,you could save those bucks for other worthy investments.
Here is how I make my own classic flyers for my music and for my friends , though I have been doing it freely as it ain't my major business venture that I so for a living .
First ,I take quality pictures with my phone .You must mater the art of taking quality pictures even with the poorest camera( sorry to say).
Editing the pictures us my next thing to do after that .The Best app that does the magic for me and that I recommend you to use is "Adobe Lightroom".
This helps me so much to edit my pictures as it has many options ranging from downloading presets form more experienced users to setting your own suitable quality picture settings.
Flyer Maker is the app that I use for most of my graphic work after I have successfully completed editing .
This what it has done for me,in the picture example below.
This gives a wide range of editing options including multiple fonts ,color schemes and pre-designed flyer look outs .
